Latest News: The Race is on today, January 23!

This Saturday the 23rd is our annual Pinewood Derby at Memorial School. Here are a few details about the event:

• Start time is 10:00 to get your cars registered. The event ends around 2:00. You'll have an hour to prepare to watch a great football game!
• Pizza, drinks and snacks will be available for a modest price.
• If your Cub Scout has an event that day (lots of basketball games in session, etc.) you can register your car, attend your event and come back to see how your car is doing and watch the awards ceremony.
• If you would like to help out please contact your den lead. We could use Judges and people to help run the races, setup, cleanup, etc.

Snow:

There is a lot of talk about a major snowstorm that might hit during the Derby. The leadership team will be monitoring the weather closely and will make the call whether to reschedule the event.

The status of the Derby will be sent to this list, posted on the web site and Den leads will help contact families directly. If we cancel, the event will be rescheduled to a different Saturday.
